Last week I spotted this beauty in the treat box, and I have to say, it is probably the best candy bar I've ever eaten...definitely better than a regular reese's cup.  I haven't seen one before or since, but all I know is I want it on pinterest for eternal preservation.

Bat Cave

And she didn't stop outside, my Big Sister brought the Martha Stewart inside tonight to create a little bat cave for her four youngins. I haven't seen the evidence yet, but I've gotten word that she also has a bit of an ant invasion in the dining room as well....

I don't have to tell you that Venn diagrams are all over pinterest (and etsy, and artfire, and every hipster's wall). So I made one for E and her ever-growing family.  My embroidery skills could used some improvement, but E has learned to lower her expectations.

Reflections

I much prefer the reflected distortions of my 2x pregnant belly to the straight on "look at my bump" shots. But maybe I'm just feeling frumpy this fall?

Smith Cross Stitch

 

While visiting E's homestead this week, this cross-stitch caught my eye.  Although I've seen it 1,000 times before, for some reason, this time, I was overwhelmed with the thought that I HAD to make something like it.
